Excuse the music on this one... but the concept is amazing. The folks over at yellowBird have a camera that can take 360 degree video allowing the people watching it to dictate what they want to look at around them. They also probably have the longest domain name I've ever seen.

With only a few seconds of work - I have generated this chart which displays the amount of times I listened to artists over the last three years.  Each artist is represented by a unique colour... and the gradient is defined by when I first listened to that artist (red = earliest, blue = latest).  This was compiled from my last.fm profile and the chart was generated using Extra Stats.  If you really want to look at this you probably have to download the full size version and view it at it's original size.

"How it would be, if a house was dreaming"

The conception of this project consistently derives from its underlying architecture - the theoretic conception and visual pattern of the Hamburg Kunsthalle. The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M. Ungers "Galerie der Gegenwart". Resultant permeabilty of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. A situation of reflexivity evolves - describing the constitution and spacious perception of this location by means of the building itself.

Want to check out some art, but can't be bothered leaving the warm comfort of your house?  Check out Freshly Baked Gallery.  The site is 'curated' by a few guys in Melbourne... and most of the artists I'm pretty sure are Australian.  All of the works are for sale... and there is even a print shop where you can buy some of the artworks at a much more affordable price.  There are some really high resolution images of each of the artworks from various angles so you really know what you're buying...

This is the PEN Story in stop motion. 60,000 pictures, 9,600 prints and then over 1,800 pictures again. No post production!

What an inspirational video this is... the music is really cool too. Hope you all enjoy it!

Spent a couple of hours this afternoon listening to the Triple J hottest 100 of all time, and customising my second Munny (after the Yak one I did a month or two ago).  Pretty happy with how it's turning out, it's the first time I've ever used 'flock'... it's giving the black stripes on the zebra a velvety fur-like finish.  Only got the head left to go, which is going to be the easiest part I to do (fingers crossed).

This amazing paper craft art installation by Wataru Itou from Tokyo, has taken over four years to complete.  Aside from the paper and the lighting, it includes a moving train!  It's an unimaginably time consuming thing to create... I'm in awe.

Here are a few pieces by Veaone that I stumbled across that sparks that inner design jealousy that I've grown to love.

This music video for Misfit by The Bumblebeez was directed by the Glue Society. They produced the track completely on a Nintendo DSi. It was actually commissioned by V Energy Drink for their V Raw programme where they want to encourage young Australians to a apply for internships at creative companies. The website documents the whole process to give them an insight in the whole creative machinery.

If I wish I were a rich man; then I could buy all of these prints, which are available in a range of sizes up to around 60cm x 90cm, for about $100 AUD (excl. shipping)... inPRNT features artworks (illustration, graphic design, fine art and photography) from a diverse range of artists at reasonable prices with half the profits going straight to the artists.  They're only available unframed I'm pretty sure, but that means the postage costs are lowered and there's less chance of them being damaged in transit.  A similar concept to RedBubble but there is a lot less crappy "art" to sift through.

This interactive online comic slash animation is written by artist and writer Sutu, who hails from Melbourne.  It can be a bit hard to follow at times, but stick with it through the (currently) 13 episodes and it all starts to make some sort of weird twisted sense along the way.  It contains soundscapes/music produced by various glitch and dub-step style artists.  Well worth a look if you have the time!  I'd recommend watching it in fullscreen mode... I had some problems with the sound not playing in a few of the episodes - but just try it in a different web browser and it should play just fine.

Found this in an old sketchbook I was looking through recently - was going to continue it at some point and turn it into a full page... but now I'm kinda glad I left it how it is.
