In an alley in Fitzroy, Victoria... An energy field dances silently to Lamb. The sheer energy shakes the cameraman around a bit, debris is kicked up from the ground, but aside from the one bystander - the phenomenon goes unnoticed. To view in HD (720P), click here: http://vimeo.com/6336429

Don't touch the bacon, it's not done yet. You let me handle the bacon, and i'll let you handle..what ever it is you do. I guess nothing.
The dog is not bored, it's a fucking dog. It's not like he's waiting for me to give him a fucking rubix cube. He's a god damned dog.

Something about Brandon Jan Blommaert's sculptures, and the photography/collages of them... makes me a strange combination of happy, sombre, angry and jealous.

The process (which you can see on his Flickr photostream: blommaert79) is really intriguing, but damn him for making me feel like I'm wasting my life not making things like that.

Reminds me a fair bit of the monsters/demons in some of the Studio Ghibli films.

UK artist Slinkachu started his Little People Project back in 2006 and it’s fair to say it has come a long way since then. Considered both a street art installation as well a photography project, Slinkachu remodels and paints miniature model train set characters, which he then places and leaves on the street.

Well this one only took about half an hour to make, and about 20 mins to render... a marked improvement on my first attempt!

So apparently my crack at trying to learn Cinema 4D didn't go so well - I think I underestimated how complex what I created was.... or maybe I had one of the settings wrong; but this took over 250 hours to render.  I don't even like it anymore because I've spent so long looking at it waiting for it finish.  I figured rather than just delete i should put it up online somewhere so that it's not a complete waste of time.

What is it you ask?? Well, you have about as much of an idea as I do.

Liu Bolin, the 35 year old artist from Shandong, China has mastered the art of camouflaging himself against virtually any background.

The talented Liu Bolin says his art is a protest against the actions of the Government, who shut down his art studio in 2005 and persecutes artists. It’s about not fitting into modern society. Despite problems with Chinese authorities, Liu’s works are appreciated at an international level.

Liu often works over 10 hours straight on his art to achieve masterful perfection.

Well it's been a fair bit of work this time around, and it's been pretty fiddly - but I've finished my second custom Munny.  The black bits have been finished with flock so are furry and stick out slightly form the vinyl, and the remainder is glow in the dark (aside from the acrylic paint eyes and the mane).  Now I just need to come up with an idea for the third one...

— Martin County Sheriff’s detectives didn’t buy a 48-year-old Jensen Beach man claim that his cat was downloading child pornography on his computer.

Keith R. Griffin, of the 3600 block of Northeast Jeannette Drive, was charged Wednesday with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after detective found more than 1,000 child pornographic images on his computer, according to a news release issued Thursday.

Griffin told detectives he would leave his computer on and his cat would jump on the keyboard. And when he returned there will be strange material downloaded, the release states.

As of Thursday, Griffin was in Martin County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
