Nippon Television's (NTV) producers have obviously never heard of the Geneva Convention. If they had, they wouldn't have treated poor Nasubi the way they did. They wouldn't have stripped him naked and shut him in an apartment, alone with no food, furniture, household goods, or entertainment. They wouldn't have kept him there for over a year until he had won $10 000 in prizes by sending in postcards to contests. They wouldn't have cut him off from the world and they would have told him that he was on nation-wide TV.

Near the end of May, Nasubi's rice ran out, and he was reduced to eating dog food. It was heart wrenching seeing him prey every night for rice.

Award-winning printers Gavin Martin Associates wanted to promote their conversion to eco-friendly vegetable inks, whilst maintaining their commitment to the highest quality print.

Magpie Studio took them at their word, offering their customers 'Unrivalled reproduction', and something to smile about in the process. The giant rabbit - painstakingly created in carrots - not only formed a memorable image, but kept the local city farm in fodder for a week.

Developed by Chuck Norris for stunt fighting in action movies. These great looking western style jeans have a unique hidden gusset which allows greater movement without binding or ripping.

Photography by Phillip Toledano, direct to you from New York.

There are a few more which you can view here: http://www.behance.net/Gallery/Hope-and-Fear/134475 (although one of them probably isn't work safe).

The few I've decided to post here, I like to call; Man Babies, Leggy Lady, and A Man of High Calibre... now I couldn't think of a pun for the 4th image I've posted here.  If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Dear Megan,

Thank you for your letter regarding overdue fees. As all four movies were outstanding examples of modern cinematic masterpieces, your assumption that I would wish to retain them in my possession is understandable, but incorrect. Please check your records as these movies were returned, on time, over three weeks ago. I remember specifically driving there and having my son run them in due to the fact that I was wearing shorts and did not want the girl behind the counter to see my white hairy legs.

Regards, David.

Bondi Beach, home to some of the worlds greatest surfers, became home to a new surfing phenomenon today when Towel Surfing was born!

Over 200 people joined in synchronous dance on their towels to the music of Australian music icon Ben Lee in a perfectly choreographed routine that amazed onlookers.

It started with one, lone individual, who walked through the crowd of sunbathers and surfers and placed his boombox on the sand in the middle of the crowded beach and pressed play. What followed was a contagion of rhythm and dance as one by one other beachgoers joined in began surfing on their towels.

They kicked their feet, paddled with their hands and bobbed up and down checking for waves all while remaining on their towels, dry on the pristine sand of Bondi Beach.

Allowing people to sell handmade art and craft items online is a great way for emerging "artists" to get their work out there and earn a bit of cash on the side.  Sites such as Etsy have been providing just this kind of service since 2005...

Unfortunately however; along with every beautiful necklace made of buttons, there is an inversely beautiful statue of a fish wearing a squirrel suit.

This is where Regretsy comes into play.  The creators of the site trawl through the darkest reaches of Etsy and provide you with some of the most disturbing, hilarious, and occasionally awesome findings.  Some of the items they've managed to find are really quite up there with the most whiskey-tango-foxtrot of internet offerings.
